BEFORE THE TOEIC TEST
At which test centers can the TOEIC test be taken in Ankara?
The TOEIC test can be taken in Ankara only at the Turkish-American Association,  Cinnah Caddesi No: 20, Kavaklıdere.
When is the test administered?
The TOEIC test can be administered on different dates in different cities. Each institution determines its own test dates. The Turkish-American Association (TAA) generally administers the test on Sunday afternoons. On official holidays or under certain circumstances , TAA every 15 days holds its right not to administer the test or to defer it.
How do I register to take the TOEIC test?
You can book a seat by calling TAA. Since there is a limited quota and the lists are sent to STE approximately two weeks before the test, you need to make a reservation a month prior to the test.
Can I reschedule my registered date after the reservation?
Yes, you can, but you need to call our institution at least fifteen days before the test. The authorized staff will direct you to dates at which the quotas are not yet filled. If the lists holding your name have been sent to STE, you can only defer your test to the following month.
Can I take the TOEIC test several times a month?
No. The test can only be taken once every 31 days. Otherwise, your score will be invalid.
How can I pay the fee for the TOEIC test?
Information mail regarding the payment is sent to your e-mail address by STE approximately ten to fifteen days prior to your reservation date. All the payment data are included in this e-mail. Payment is made to STE, Standard Test Education Services in Istanbul. The receipt is also faxed to STE. If you still have not received the e-mail five days before the test, please make sure to notify our institution.
ON THE DAY OF THE TOEIC TEST
What do I need to bring to the test center?
On the day of the TOEIC test, you are absolutely required to have your birth certificate and a photocopy of it with you. There is no photocopy service available in our institution. In addition, you need to bring  pencils and erasers.
When do I need to be at the test center on the test day?
You should be at the test center  20 minutes prior to the beginning of the test.
May I still take the test even if I am late for it?
No. Once the test starts, you cannot enter the test room. However, by contacting STE, you may determine a new test date and take the test.
May I take notes during the test?
It is absolutely forbidden to make notes on any paper or to make any marks on the test booklet during the TOEIC test. Test takers are not given extra time to mark their answer sheets. Besides, test takers are to remove everything from their desks but their pencils and erasers.
Will there be any scheduled  breaks during the test?
No. There will be no scheduled breaks during the test. If, however, an examinee leaves the test room because of an urgent situation, he or she will not be given extra time for the moments he or she has lost.
AFTER THE TOEIC TEST
In how many days are the TOEIC test scores reported?
The TOEIC test scores are officially reported in ten days.
How is an examinee issued a score report?
For each examinee, the test score is sent to TAA in a sealed envelope. Thus, an examinee should come and get his or her score report from our institution. Since those envelopes are sealed, they cannot be opened by other people. Therefore, an examinee can by no means find out his or her test score by calling our institution. If a test taker cannot come and get his or her score report during office hours, anyone authorized by the examine may get the score report from our institution on behalf of the candidate.
