“Open Call for “Promising Turks Fund for Virtual Programs”
Established by The American Turkish Society (ATS) and the Turkish American Association (TAA), “The Promising Turks Fund” program is now accepting applications for virtual programs. The Promising Turks Fund is a fund that supports Turkish students to represent Turkey in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics (STEAM), and international relations.
Our fund will be supporting students only in virtual programs this year because of COVID-19 as it would not be possible for students to attend such symposiums, conferences, and similar crowded spaces in the U.S. as well as to avoid the possibility of being infected and/or infecting COVID-19 during their travels to the U.S.
Successful Turkish students at the high school, college, masters, and Ph.D. levels, who have been invited to the U.S. to represent Turkey in virtual competitions, symposiums, or conferences organized by educational institutions or NGOs may apply to the fund. The application form must be completely filled out and relevant documents must be submitted.
